Able to(लायक / काबिल होना / सकता हैं / सक्षम) by satender shah

हम Able to का प्रयोग अपनी योगिता को बताने के लिए करते हैं। मतलब कि किसी काम को आप करने के काबिल हो या नही। 

यदि sentence के अंत में काबिल हैं, लायक हैं, सकता हैं, सक्षम हैं आदि लगकर आता हैं तो ऐसी स्थिति में able to का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Here is rule written.

Affirmative

Sub+is/am/are+able to+v1+obj.

Negative

Sub+is/am/are+not+able to+v1+obj.

Interrogative

Is/am/are+sub+able to+v1+obj?

Negative - interrogative

Is/am/are+sub+not+able to+v1+obj?

Examples of Affirmative

वह खाना बनाने के काबिल हैं।

She is able to cook food.

वे यहां आने के लायक हैं।

They are able to come here.

वह जो कुछ भी चाहे वह खरीदने के योग्य हैं।

He is able to buy anything whatever he wants.

वह खेलने में सक्षम हैं।

He is able to play.

सोहन लड़ाई करने के काबिल हैं।

Sohan is able to fight.

Examples of Negative

उसे बोला नहीं जाता।

He is not able to speak.

मोहन देख नही पा रहा हैं।

Mohan is not able to see.

वे बात करने के लायक नही हैं।

They are not able to talk.

हम खेलने में सक्षम नहीं हैं।

We are not able to play.

तुम यहां आने के काबिल नही हो।

You are not able to come here.
