Use of There and it's concept, examples..

In today's article, we are going to read about a well-known popular and very used word "There" in English. We will read what is the Hindi meaning of there and how it is used in a sentence.

Concept no 1

If in the sentence the word "There" (वहां) is used so "There" would be used in that sentence.

यदि वाक्य के अंदर "वहां" शब्द का प्रयोग किया जाता हैं तो उस वाक्य में "वहां" के लिए 'There' का प्रयोग किया जाएगा

Examples:

वहां चार लड़के है।

There are four boys there.

मैं वहां गया।

I went there.

वहां कोई नहीं है।

No one is there.

मेरा घर वहां है 

My house is there.

तुम वहां रहते हो।

You live there

मेरी घड़ी वहां हैं।

My watch is there.

तुम वहां क्यों गई?

Why did you go there?

Concept no-2

We use ' There' to show the presence of a person or things.

There का प्रयोग, जब किसी के शुरु में किया जाता है, तो वहां पर There से किसी का होने का पता चलता है।

Examples:

There is man (आदमी है)

There are two pen (दो पेन है)

There was a king (एक राजा था)

There is a robber (डाकू है)

There were boys (लड़के है)

There is something wrong (कुछ ग़लत है)

There is water (पानी है)

There was a tiger in that forest. (उस जंगल में एक शेर था।
