Concept -1 

किसी noun & pronoun को बताने के लिए। It या this का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

It - यह (निर्जीव वस्तु)

This - यह (सजीव व निर्जीव)

Examples:

यह एक कार है।

It is a car.

     Or

This is car.

यह सीखा है।

This is Sikha.

यह पवन है।

This is Pawan.

यह कौन है?

Who is this?

यह क्या है?

What is this?

यह मैं हूं।

It's me.

यह तुम हो।

It's you.

यह तुम्हारी कार हैं।

It is your car.

Concept-2

It का प्रयोग दिन (days) बताने के लिए किया जाता है।

Examples:

आज सोमवार है।

Today is Monday. (Incorrect)

It is Monday today.(correct)

कल छुट्टी थी।

It was holiday yesterday.

आज मेरा जन्मदिन है।

It is my birthday today.

कल छुट्टी रहेगी।

It will be holiday tomorrow।

Concept-3

Time, decades, memory etc.

समय हो चुका है/ गया है।

It + Has been +time / decades/ memory.

समय हो चुका था/ गया था.

It+Had been + time / decades/ memory.

Examples:

दो दिन हो गए हैं।

It has been 2 days.

4 साल हो गए हैं।

It has been 4 year.

कई साल हो चुके थे।

It had been many year.

दो घंटे हो गए है।

It has been 2 hour.

इतना समय किसे लगा

मुझे - to me

उसे- to him

तुम्हें - to you

उन्हें - to them

हमें - to us

पवन को - to Pawan

Examples:

मुझे 3 दिन हो गए हैं।

It has been 3 days to me

पवन को 5 साल हो गए है।

It has been 5 year to Pawan.

उसको 10 साल हो गए थे।

It had been 10 year to him.

Concept - 4

It का प्रयोग निर्जीव वस्तु, पंछी, छोटे- मोटे जानवर, कीड़े - मकोड़े, नवजात शिशु आदि के लिए किया जाता है।

Examples:

यह एक सुंदर तितली हैं।

It is a very beautiful butterfly.

यह किताब है।

It is book.

यह तुम्हारा baby है।

It is your baby.

मैंने एक बच्चा देखा , वह खेल रहा था।

I saw a child , it was playing.

Concept -5

It का प्रयोग घड़ी के समय बताने के लिए किया जाता है।

it is half past nine 'o' clock.

it is half past ten 'o' clock.

it is quarter to 4'o' clock.

It is nine'o'clock.

It is ten 'o'clock.

Concept-6 

It का प्रयोग तारीख (date) और साल (year) बताने के लिए किये जाते हैं।

Examples:

20 नवंबर हैं।

It is 20 November.

10 July हैं।

It is 10 July.

यह 2020 हैं।

It is 2020.

यह 1945 हैं।

It is 1945.

Concept -7 

It का प्रयोग "समय लगना" के साथ किया जाता है।

- It का प्रयोग as a subject.

- Take as a verb 

Examples:

10 मिनट लगते है।

It takes 10 minutes.

5 मिनट लगे।

It took 5 minutes.

15 मिनट लगेंगे।

It will take 15 minutes.

मुझे वहां जाने में 15 मिनट लगते हैं।

It takes 15 minutes to me to go there.

मुझे 20 मिनट लगते हैं।

It takes 20 minutes to me.
